JUNE, 2018 NEWSLETTER

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” – Mark 16:15,16

Dear Saints,

On May 12th, 2018, we held another baptismal service down near the village of San Caralampio. I am happy to report to you that 99 souls were baptized! This particular baptism was extra special. Our oldest granddaughter was baptized! On our ministry’s Facebook page there is a short video of it. I will soon be posting some pictures, also. We are doing the will of God by reaching these souls with the saving power of the Gospel. Thank you again for helping us do that. As missionary C.T. Studd put it, “One goes, one gives, and one prays. It takes all three to make a missionary.” God will bless you for doing your part. Our part was to go to Mexico almost 36 years ago to preach and plant churches. (We now have 45 churches.) Others have prayed and given financial support to this endeavor. Jesus promises us in Revelation 22:12, “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”

Speaking of San Caralampio, the leader of that church, Bro. Fernando, recently became very ill. He suffered a brain aneurysm that ruptured. I read recently that 40% of ruptured aneurysms are fatal. He was taken to a hospital where they confirmed all of that and said that as a result, he had suffered a stroke. He couldn’t talk or walk. The doctors did what they could, which was nothing, and then sent him home. For weeks he laid on the floor, wrapped up in blankets. When he did manage to speak, it was all gibberish. We knew that with God all things are possible, so we prayed. I am happy to report that our God heard our prayers and healed Bro. Fernando! I have included two pictures of him – one where he is on the floor, and the other where he is healed. Thank you Jesus!

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” – Galatians 6:9.
